Holy Static Discharge, Batman!

This has been some crazy weather. I hope everyone managed to stay safe out there. Hopefully things will settle down going into the week and we can get on with our hiking.

If you’re tired of getting up early for your hikes to avoid the heat, check out this Night Walk at Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. A walk in the canyon at night. It’s an eerie, unusual, and peaceful place filled with many wonders. The senses are enriched at night and are our guides. We will also contemplate the moon, stars, and constellations above. Bring a flashlight, water, and insect repellant. Meet in the parking lot at 4206 Sorrento Valley Blvd. Visit the Friends of Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve for more information, or visit our Events Page to find even more upcoming hikes and events.
